XLII Session of the Interstate Council on Geodesy, Cartography, Cadastre and Earth Remote Sensing (further– Interstate Council) was held on 01 October 2020 by video teleconferencing.
The session was attended by heads and representatives of cartographic and geodetic services of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan (further – the Services).
The XLII session of the Interstate Council was opened by the Chairman of the Interstate Council on Geodesy, Cartography, Cadastre and Earth Remote Sensing, Director of the State Agency for Land Resources under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Botobayev Kanybek Kalbayevich.
Designated Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on Border Issues in the rank of First Deputy Chief Officer of the State Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Borubayev Nazirbek Narmatovich, and the Director of the CIS Executive Committee's Department for Security Co-operation and Countering New Challenges and Threats Burov Aleksandr Aleksandrovich have delivered welcoming remarks.
