Calibration of measuring instruments

In 2001, Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan / Gosstandard / has issued general licences for the repair and calibration of measuring instruments (License Series МА №0001140 and №0001144) to the RNE “Kazgeokart”. Additionally, every three years, Gosstandard of Kazakhstan has performed the re-accreditation of the Company's calibration laboratory for the right to verify measuring instruments in accordance with the scope of accreditation. The last Accreditation certificate No. KZ.P.02.2411 of 15 January 2021 issued for a period of 5 years.

Scope of licensing for repair

• Theodolites of all types, except electronic;
• Leveling instruments of all types, except for electronic.

• Optical and electronic theodolites;
• Electronic tachymeters;
• Optical and electronic levels;
• Leveling rods (checkerboard, invar and code);;
• Laser tape measures and distance gauges;
• Satellite based measurement systems (GPS and GNSS receivers);
• Universal collimator stands.

Repairs and calibration are carried out by qualified specialists with extensive experience in the field. The verification officers continuously improve their technical level on refresher courses and have certificates registered in the Register of the state system for ensuring uniformity of measurements of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The laboratory is fully equipped with standards, calibration and repair equipment for the repair of surveying instruments.
