Demonstration of laying down the work centre
A demonstration of the laying of a high-precision geodetic network work centre with the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, Baghdat Musin, was held in Nur-Sultan.
It will be recalled that this year, RSE NCGSI has proceeded to implementation of the “National Spatial Data Infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan" project providing for modernization of Kazakhstan's geodetic support and establishing a new coordinate system Qazaqstan Terrestrial Reference System.
Establishment of a new coordinate system involves switching to a geocentric system by setting up a satellite geodetic network. The points of the fundamental astronomical geodetic network and the high-precision geodetic network will serve as the basis for the satellite geodetic network.
The implementation of new coordinate system will have a positive impact on all economic entities, socio-economic development and public administration and will make related work better and more precise.
Modernization of the state geodetic support system of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides for the development of state geodetic, leveling, gravimetric networks taking into account modern satellite and information technologies.
