As part of the anti-corruption policy of the Company, an advisor of the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Counteracting Corruption, Zhylkyshiyeva Zhazira Zhaksylykovna, has held a lecture for the staff of the Company and its branches on 31 March 2021 on the topic of:

“On innovations in anti-corruption laws and formation of the ideology of integrity" and Kozhumov Askhat Sultanbekovich, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Astana International Financial Centre, on the topic of: “International experience in combating corruption”.

As part of the lecture, participants were explained the innovations of the anti-corruption legislation, touched upon the issues of quasi-governmental sector, namely restrictions on the employment of persons convicted for a corruption offence, the responsibility of managers for corruption offences of subordinates, also presented indicators for combating corruption in Kazakhstan and examples of anti-corruption models from several foreign countries.

The speakers have noted the need to implement the anti-corruption standard ISO37001 and the institution of compliance service or anti-corruption compliance officer, at the end of the lecture, speakers have answered questions posed by the employees of the company, after which a demonstration video was shown to all participants.

Based on the results of the lecture, all presentation materials and the video are further communicated to all employees of the company and its branches. In general, it should be mentioned that the purpose of holding such events is one of proactive measure and corruption prevention.
